New Lalo Schifrin downloads from other blogs
There were some Schifrin records available the last days on the net:
"La leyenda de los soundtracks"(http://los-soundtracks.blogspot.com/) shared Bullitt (original 1968 recording, http://d.turboupload.com/d/1065479/Lalo_Schifrin_-_Bullit_1968.rar.html), The Fox (original 1968 recording, http://rapidshare.de/files/35366707/Fox.zip) and The Cincinnati Kid (original 1965 recording, already available on this blog, http://d.turboupload.com/d/1052295/The_Cincinnati_Kid_OST.zip.html).
In the now defunct film music forum someone was so kind and posted Hitchcock: Master of Mayhem (http://www.sendspace.com/file/b030kv), which includes Schifrin-conducted Hitchcock film music (including Rear Window !) and also some themes of his own (Dirty Harry, Mission: Impossible and Rollercoaster).
Finally, on "you don't have to visit this blog" (http://youdonthavetovisit.blogspot.com/) there was Sol Madrid (http://rapidshare.de/files/37151632/SolMadrid.zip), the spy thriller starring David McCallum.
Other news: Film Score Monthly issued a great new CD for The Liquidator (http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm?ID=6347), containing both the film score and the tracks previously available on LP (see my October posting of this LP). Buy it at Screen Archives !
If you want further info concerning these (and all other) Schifrin releases, just go to http://www.dougpayne.com/schifrin.htm.
