It's not well-known that the leader of the Chieftains, Paddy Moloney (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0597232/), also composes marvellous film music. Here's a compilation called "Reel Music" which features the great scores for "Treasure Island" (the 1990 version starring Charlton Heston), "The Year of the French" and three others.
